I'm not sure that I am qualified to make that kind of decision, but I will do anything I can to help get any kind of trial started. After reading information that Dr. Young posts, I think that you and Dr. Young would be better at that. Yes, I read all the time and I have sent Zee some information but that kind of decision needs to be make by people with more knowledge than I have. I agree about the frivolous research. If Dr. Young only needs funds to go forward we need to do all we can to see that get started. Anyway, I'm willing to do anything to help. E-mail ka857@charter.net Sorry for the delay. Randall (Zee) is adamant that he can get funding for sc trials. He seems to know what needs to be done and says he has a 501c3, but needs a board. He wants me to take the reins and find people who would serve on the board and be willing to administer the funds and make the decisions on what research should be funded. He says he has spoken to you and found you to be very knowledgeable. I am not sure what to make of all of this. I am willing to help if he truly can make this happen. I would need other good people to help by serving on the board. Dr. Young needs funding right now so he can get his COPD trial off the ground. I would love to be able to help him and others that have our interests at heart and not just frivolous research projects. Let me know what you think. I did talk to him on the phone yesterday and have had quite an e-mail dialog with him. I would be happy to forward the e-mails if you want. I would need your e-mail address to do this. Thanks, Barb
