I have also heard of Dr. Bernal and read the series on the Inquirer, but since I met Dr. Bill and trust him I'll stick to him esp since he did my first treatment. It just so happened that adistem has office in the same bldg where I work here in Rufino along ayala ave. He is a very nice guy and easy to talk to and doesn't BS - if there's something he thinks he can;t do he'll say so. He performed the adipose treatment (mini liposuction using only local anestthesia) with Dr. Florencio Lucero here in Manila who is a plastic surgeon, hence they use him for the mini lipo thing. I do know that Dr. Bill said he was going to be working with a local pulmonologist but still don't know who. I hope for the best treatment for us, because having this disease is so hard. I have the genetic form, but it's just the same. Someone told me that even occasional smoking could do damage so my reaoning that I smoked too little didn;'t hold water. Good lucj with your inquiries.
