FDA advisers are getting ready to announce their decision on whether or not they recommend that the FDA approve Tesamorelin. If you would like to give your input, you should contact the advisers ASAP at <paul.tran@fda.hhs.gov>. Tesamorelin is a peptide that stimulates the hypothalmus and causes the body to produce more human growth hormone.
FDA advisers are suppose to issue their decision later today. Please contact <paul.tran@fda.hhs.gov> and tell him to support the approval of Tesamorelin. This drug was actually developed fro hiv lypodystrophy. However, improved lung function has been documented as one of the single biggest reasons to take the drug. From an FDA standpoint, the FDA may not warm up to the lung idea since this wasn't the filing. So use your own best judgment on what to say. The FDA is strictly evaluating this drug for hiv lypodystrophy.
