I read that Nepsis is a good, reputable lab but I would like to hear from you. Share your experience, what disease was treated, how many million stem cells did you get, was the doctor(s) friendly and answered your questions? Where did they insert IV, in arm? Would you recommend Nepsis to me and anyone else? Could my dad call you? He wants information before I go to Nepsis to get my deafness treated.

Nepsis is fairly new as an entity. Dr. Ramirez who administers most of the treatments for Nepsis (along with other doctors at his clinic) has been giving treatments for quite a long time.

I have had personal experience with them, but at this point, it would be too early to report anything significant. I certainly will when I feel it is the right time. I have COPD. I know that Nepsis has treated other kinds of conditions and diseases, but as I stated, it is still early on for anyone to be able to make any real declarations of independence from whatever ails them in my opinion.

My son has been enrolled for treatment next year with Nepsis. I have known Dr. Payne for probably 7 years and respect him very much. I have known Dr Ramirez for 6 years and he has given my son all 5 of his stem cell transplant injections. I trust him very much as well. The most recent transplant was through SRI but Dr. Ramirez and his team did an arterial catheterization into the carotid artery to just under the brain from the femoral artery. Excellent job.

Thanks for the replies. My dad is impressed. Who else has experience with Nepsis that they can share? What should I know before flying to Nepsis?

I would like to have stem cells treatment for hearing loss and fly to nepsis.
Do you know how much is it to have treatment?
How long does treatment take, and how many hearing impaired have been treated since ?
Thank you so much.

You need to contact the company directly for such things as cost, technical data, etc. The link above will give you the information for you to get in touch with them directly.

This forum does not endorse any clinic, doctor or procedure. Individuals are urged to do a thorough job of researching companies on their own. We do welcome input from everyone as to information they have received and of course we value hearing from anyone that has had stem cell therapy.

As I mentioned in a different thread, I urge everyone to join ICMS. The patient registry they have proposed will become an invaluable tool when researching procedures, clinics and doctors. It will provide information on what treatments are working and what treatments aren't. Anecdotal evidence is nice to have as well from a patient's point of view, but we have to also understand that in order to gain legitimacy and to be able to combat misinformation as was put out in the 60 Minutes TV program, that we need clinical evidence as well. When contacting clinics, let them know that you want to know if they are a member of ICMS, planning on becoming a member, etc. If they have no interest, then personally, I would have no interest in them either. It would indicate to me that their only interest is in my bank account.

Last I heard, they are supposedly still setting up operations in Costa Rica at some point. They are operating through a wonderful stem cell physician in Tijuana, Mexico however, which is probably where we will go this summer. Best of fortune with your journey.

Please let us know what you are getting stem cells for and the results. I may go to the Costa Rica center after they are done setting it up. I want to improve my hearing.

Later this month, it should be time to make plans.

No, I have a son who is ten years old with rather extensive brain damage due to a birth injury. He has had 5 stem cell therapy transplants over the last 7 years already using stem cells derived from human umbilical cord blood. We are looking for something different to see if we can get breakthrough improvements. Thanks for asking. I am familiar with Dr. Payne since he used to be with SRI. Now that he is with Nepsis/Biogenics or whatever their new name is and am going to give the autologous stem cells a try and see what happens.

How much can a treatment at nepsis cost?
I could never afford it.

I couldn't quote you Prices down there because I don't think they are set up there as yet, but would not be shocked to find out that it was at least $8,000+ plus travel costs. It could be more or less however. In Mexico, we would probably be looking at $14,000+ plus travel costs. The price has come down and the stem cells and delivery methods have improved from what I have seen in 7 years.

anyone could update this message from Nepsis?

6) Are you or can you treat sensory neural hearing loss with adult autologous stem cells? If not, do you expect to in the next year? Do you know of any doctors treating hearing loss at this point, if Nepsis does not?

Actually, we have two patients with sensory neural hearing loss who will be undergoing stem cell treatment in the next two months. The approach is unique and proprietary, so I can't get into specifics at this time.
