If you will go to google and put in google alerts you can have a current update on what is happening with stem cells all over the world sent to your mail box. I just checked the most recent one and there was a little girl in Tailand teated for a eye disorder successfully and others for those who have diabetes and have wounds that do not heal well. Here is an example:
"Several diabetes patients, aged from 50 to 72, with chronic wounds on their feet -- especially difficult in the case of diabetics -- were injected with stem cells extracted from their own blood and the wounds completely healed in a three to four month period."
There is always very interesting information about stem cells and the advancement of their use all over the world.
