A most interesting article! The pace of innovation in attempts to repair/restore the synovial joint is a bit encouraging. A proper "matrix" is required, which needs to be seeded with the stem cells, and then an effective means of anchoring the fresh, repair component to the target site is needed. There is a field called "Tissue Welding", which seems to have great promise for this...

I need a shoulder restoration, nevertheless I find this article rather significant...!

My son has psoriasis the as affected his joints.
He has had his sholders and knee joints done
Maybe if he has to have his hips done,this may be the way to go.
