Let me begin by saying how impressed I am with the open-mindedness in this forum. Until recently I would have thought you were all crazy. However, my father recently traveled to Juarez Mexico for fetal bovine stem cell therapy, along with several other alternative medicines such as chelation therapy, IV hydrogen peroxide, and hyperbaric chamber treatment. Its only taken a few weeks to see dramatic increases in his blood oxygen saturation and his overall health. When I have more time I would like to share his story (it's long), and do whatever I can to help you get the word out that there are alternatives.
For the caregivers, you have my undying respect. My mother has been caring for my father for years, literally hand and foot for the last couple years, and I don't know how she does it.

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum. I know the caregiver's would love to have you and your mom post in the caregiver's category. It is a new one that they are trying to get started. I believe it sounds like your dad may have had live cells. Most of the people on this forum are getting umbilical cord or adult stem cells and there is even a post or two about embryonic cells. Many have had experience with live cells also. Our forum is rather refreshing isn't it? No nasty censoring and stuff like that. I get so tired of people trying to choose what we should write and read about, especially when keeping the information from their forum members can be extremely hazardous to one's health! I am glad to hear that your dad is feeling better and I hope you can get him on here too.

RAJU JOSHI - When are you taking your mom for treatment? To me, bronchoscopy sounds like a much better way to insure the stem cells get to where they need to be rather than IV. It may be slightly more difficult for the patient, but IV's can be hard on someone as well. Does Dr. Bouros use any sedatives? In what country will she be getting treatment?

Dear Steve,
I agree to you all totally, that an approach by bronchoscopy could be very promising.
But I would prefer my own or embryonic stem cells of human origin but not of animals like bovine fetal stem cells. But of course if it works beneficially, why not.
Maybe we could find in Mexico some laboratories that could produce (IPS) induced pluripotent stem cells of our own body or use genuine human embryonic cells...
Actually in Ireland it is still legal to use embryonic stem cells for various reasons...
best regards,
franz

Personally, I would never want treatment with live (animal) cells. Some people get a boost at first, but it fades and subsequent treatments usually produce fewer results. These types of treatments can be risky and many are done under less than desirable conditions.
